Anglers' questions

Before you cast your line.

Do I need a national fishing licence?

No, our ponds are private and reserved for guests. No fishing licence is required.

Is predator fishing allowed?

No, predator fishing is prohibited throughout the estate. Only coarse (float) fishing is allowed. Pike are present in our ponds but for observation only.

Is fishing gear provided?

No, please bring your own gear (rod, reel, bait). The campsite does not offer rentals.

Can children fish?

Yes. The shaded pond (with flat banks) is ideal for beginners and families. Children must be supervised by their parents.

Is catch-and-release mandatory?

Yes. To protect the environment and biodiversity, we practise No-Kill fishing: release your catch to preserve the fish population and let everyone enjoy the sport.
